Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare pick list and delivery notes for the Parts Sales team.
• Maintain constant communication with Part Sales Representatives and Technicians to ensure parts delivery logistics are addressed.
• Communicate all relevant information effectively to involved parties to ensure proper execution of work
• Handle internal and external pick lists in a quick and courteous manner, escalating matters based on priorities.
• Develop relationships with all cross section of staffs and clients.
• Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system.
• Coordinates parts required to be dispatched and make sure all papers are well written.
• Check items to be dispatched against invoice and delivery note.
• Ensure items are properly packaged for dispatch.
• Stock and label shelves and other spaces where inventory items are stored.
• Assists stores manager in processing daily stock orders.
• Updates electronic parts files.
• Review files to determine unused items and recommend disposal of excess stock.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
• Compiles stock control reports such as consumption rate and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Files company copies of parts counter invoices.
• Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
• Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered.
Qualifications and key Attributes
• Degree or diploma in procurement or qualification-related field.
• Three(3) years’ experience as a stock controller, receiver, or related position.
• Communicating effectively in writing PO’s, Invoices, GRN, and other necessary stores documents.
• Ability to Handle more than 11,000 product lines.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Sage 300.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
• Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
